The Boy’s Eyes

I saw a boy, his eyes sparkled like thousands of stars, dreaming of a time the men can be equals, he thought that by himself he could swim in this sea of people; he had loosed the rope of ignorance and would be free. He is in captivity and he wanted to be like others and flies freely in the sky.

He relished the feeling of the wind caressing his hair and face, lifting his spirits up. He looked at the sky, unperturbed and almost still, in spite of all the noise and movement around him. The life tracks at him feet though, moved so fast that he could hardly focus. He stretched out his foot, his hands tightly holding the handles at hopes and looked at it against the moving background. When death is just one step away like this, what is it that keeps anyone from taking it? When no physical barrier separates you and death, what is it that holds you back? He smiled the thought away and looked at the moving trees. In the lighter moments of life, one doesn’t try to answer deep, dark questions like this one, just live…

I saw the boy’s eyes and all hopes in the world through it. Namaste…❤️🙏
