A lot of us start to modify and change ourselves, leave our dreams behind, sacrifice who we really are and what we are trying to be – just because someone in our life has a problem with it. Because we don’t fit into “their” mold of how we should be and behave.

My thoughts: Seriously … life’s too short to be someone else. It’s already a fascinating journey of discovering who we are … and a lot of us take years to find our true selves. Why complicate it to become someone we really don’t want to be? We are unique individuals … if God wanted us to be someone else, he would have made us someone else!! So let’s celebrate our true self … and please do invite the people trying to change us … let them too discover how amazing we truly are and maybe in the process, they too will discover their true self! ♥
