The thing about intelligence is so many people think it has to do with a person’s level of education or their job. I know plenty of people with advanced degrees that really aren’t that bright.

The intelligence needed to attain and sustain a sexual connection has more to do with the person’s ability to communicate with and understand their partner. Sex starts long before the bedroom for me. Regardless of how sexy a person is physically, if I find I’m unable to have an intelligent conversation with them on any topic, then my attraction for them wavers. I personally don’t have a physical “type,” but a big sexy brain is one thing that I look for and won’t compromise on. Long after the orgasms have ended, we’ll still need to talk.
