Make your way to home…

In the infinite wonder of nature there are no two galaxies alike. Each little snowflake crystal is different from the others, and every footprint is unique. The divine plan comes into clear focus: We are each a divine creation, here for a purpose. On the higher level, which is humanity, that purpose is a noble one – to grow spiritually.

And yet we humans persistently block our own growth by comparing ourselves with others. We bog down in excessive admiration of what others have done, or are doing, and this results in a residue of self-doubt which stifles creativity and the flowering of our true self.

For instance, the novice singer says: “Oh, if only I could sing like Pavarotti!” The budding architect murmurs over his drafting board: “It would be wonderful to be like Oscar Niemeyer!” The struggling painter sighs: “If only I could paint like Rembrandt, I’d have it made!” In truth however, there is only one Pavarotti, one Niemeyer, and one Rembrandt. And there is only one you.

Receiving inspiration from those who have achieved greatness is valuable, but to feel discouragement in a vain struggle to duplicate the works of one we admire is being a martyr to an illusion. Comparison is not only odious, it is unnecessary.

Nature teaches us the composition of beauty. Right now there are tulips waiting to grow and flourish in Netherlands fields in the spring. Once bloomed, the stately, elegant blossoms will be gowned in pale yellow with delicate, feathery strokes of red purple adorning each petal, as if done carefully with a paintbrush. Namaste… ❤️
