Though your way and my way will
not be the same.
There are places I’ve been I hope
you do not have to go.
And yet, had I not passed through
them, would I have arrived here?
So I will share some notes
from the journey,
And if you find yourself lost in the
underworld,
Immobilized by despair and grief
Crushed heart barely beating,
Maybe I can offer some comfort.
