And she said to him, ‘I look around me and all I can see is pain. I see pain living in people’s eyes, in their lungs, in their bones. You can see that it hurts for some people just to breathe, and when winter comes and the wind touches them, you can see their bodies cringe as it enters the cracks of their broken soul, forcing them to face all the pain they’ve been trying to avoid. And some people are in so much pain that when the wind pierces their skin, it doesn’t touch them at all; it goes right through them because they have numbed themselves long ago. And I can see that the ones who have numbed themselves, they no longer ache. And that’s what I want. I don’t want to feel this pain anymore.’
He replied,’ They no longer feel pain, but that’s because they no longer feel anything at all.
You see all of this pain, but for a moment, close your eyes. Now you can’t see the pain, but you can still feel it. But if you keep your eyes closed long enough, and keep breathing, you’ll start to feel something else inside of you. Maybe not now, but one day, you will be able to feel so much love instead of all this pain. And one day it won’t matter how much pain you see or feel because you’ll know if you just close your eyes, you can feel a love so infinite, it makes life worth living. To be able to feel all of this love is worth all of the pain. Namaste… ❤
