Thou must learn her …

Hark, young lover, attends to these words of wisdom, for they hold the key to the heart of a fair maiden. Thou must learn her, unravel her mysteries as one would untangle a web. Seek out the reasons behind her silence, for therein lies the truth of her soul.

Thou must discern her weaknesses, the tender spots that ache within her. Write to her, pour forth thy feelings in words that shall soothe her troubled spirit. Remind her of thy steadfast presence, let her know that thou art her unwavering support.

Know well the length of time it takes for her to surrender and be there to catch her before she falls. Love her, for many have attempted and faltered, yet she yearns to feel worthy of love, to know that she is deserving of being cherished.

Thus, in this manner, thou shalt keep her, by understanding her, by loving her, and by proving that she is indeed worthy of being held close to thy heart. This, young lover, is the path to winning her undying affection.
