Ocean

I will make my bed in the ocean, where the waves caress me like a lover’s touch. It is a demonstration of helplessness, surrendering to the vast expanse of water that surrounds me. I offer my salt as sacrifice, knowing that growth is a daily practice, a journey of self-discovery and transformation.

I am learning what it means to be a grain of sand, insignificant yet essential to the beauty of the beach. I spell out homonyms for love, words that hold different meanings but all lead back to the same feeling of connection and warmth. Like a song for mockingbirds, my heart sings lullabies and lyrical mimicry, echoing the truth of perception and the power of faith.

Believe in something meaningful, for the sound of that belief is the same as love. It resonates in the depths of our souls, guiding us through the uncertainties of life and reminding us of the beauty that surrounds us. So let us embrace the ocean, the sand, and the songs of the mockingbirds, for in their simplicity lies the profound truth of love.
