Eternal Tides

I thought of love on a rainy day—a canvas of gray where longing dripped from the heavens. The sun, that relentless voyager, sought refuge behind veils of cloud. I wished for its retreat—for eternity—to let the world bask in the melancholy of your presence.

You, my dear enigma, were the gloom—the mist that clung to ancient oaks, the fog that whispered secrets. Depth and mystery swirled within you, like hidden galaxies waiting to be explored. On that dull and darkened day, you were the riddle I yearned to unravel.

And I? I was the rain—the silent messenger. I fell from the clouds, not in torrents, but as delicate droplets of your grace. Each bead carried a fragment of your essence—a benediction for the mortals who lived below. They tilted their faces upward, catching glimpses of your enigmatic soul.

Affection bloomed within me as I gazed upon the sea at twilight. The horizon blurred—the boundary between water and sky dissolving. I hoped that the sun, that fiery sentinel, might withhold its brilliance. Let the waves remain unlit, I pleaded. Let the ocean mirror your elegance, your freedom.

For you were the sea—an expanse of possibility. Your depths held stories—of shipwrecks and mermaids, of forgotten cities and sunken dreams. You danced with the tides, your laughter echoing across continents. Elegant and free, you defied maps and compasses.

And I? I was the waves—the ceaseless rhythm. I crashed against your shores, carving poetry into the sand. With each retreat, I whispered your name—a litany of longing. The sun, perhaps jealous, peeked through the clouds, casting golden threads upon my liquid canvas.

So, let it be—an eternal dance. You, the sea, and I, the waves. We’ll sway to the moon’s orchestration, our love written in salt and foam. The sun need not shine upon our waters; twilight shall be our sanctuary. And as the ends of time dissolve, we’ll merge—a seamless horizon, an infinity of tides.

Note: May your love ripple through eternity. 🌊🌅✨
