Prayer for the Nature

Father, I offer this prayer because You are in my hands just as I am in Yours. You live in my words just as in You I am also a verb. And in my eyes, You are the seed that reveals the color of the fruits, the name of a river that surrenders to the sea, the small child who embraces the mother. Through Your word, I learned to respect the winter, to wait for the spring, and to accept my harvests; I learned to be summer and to fly with the swallows.

Bless me as You bless the grain of sand, the wind, and the stars, with the equal opportunity to dwell in Your house. And may the eternal in me be announced, driving away the poison from my blood, the thorns from my flowers, the selfishness from my loves, and the spears from my hands. Make me sweetness when I know only bitterness; make me healing when I know only destruction; make me rest to clothe all my dreams and make me Love, as an answer to every question of Life.

Grant me all the shadows of the forest so I may walk with my own Light. And if I fall, hurt, die, kill, suffer, lose, err; forgive me with a new beginning, with the new, with courage, with gratitude for all that I was and for what I will still be; and also with the certainty that the Lord is my shepherd, and I shall not want. 🙏🏾❤️
