Each morning, as the first light of dawn filters through my window, I stand before the mirror and gaze into my own eyes. I ask myself a question that has become a ritual, a compass guiding my days: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” This question, simple yet profound, holds the power to illuminate the path I tread.
There are days when the answer is a resounding “Yes,” and I step forward with purpose and joy. But there are also days when the answer is “No,” and those days string together like a somber melody, whispering that something must change. It is in these moments of reflection that I realize the need for transformation, for growth.
I approach this journey of change with the innocence and curiosity of a child. I am learning, always learning, taking baby steps towards a life that resonates with my true self. Each step, no matter how small, is a testament to my commitment to live fully, to embrace the unknown with open arms.
In this dance of self-discovery, I find beauty in the process. The mirror becomes not just a reflection of my face, but a window into my soul, revealing the courage it takes to ask the hard questions and the grace to accept the answers. And so, with each new day, I continue to learn, to grow, and to take those precious baby steps towards a life that feels authentically mine. đđžâ¤ī¸
