Life’s Distractions

I wake up in the morning feeling so much love, yet my soul beckons in sadness as I rise to a world where money and power are seen as more important than people. It pains me to see one’s humanity reduced to a mere tool for gain, where the essence of care and compassion is overshadowed by the relentless pursuit of profit.

Once-caring souls become distracted, their warmth and empathy dulled by the incessant demands of a materialistic society. The spark that once lit their hearts now flickers weakly, threatened by the cold winds of indifference. In this world, an amazing creation of life—full of potential and beauty—is burdened with worry about tomorrow, losing sight of the splendor of today.

I yearn for a time when we can embrace the present moment, reveling in the simple joys and miracles that surround us. When love and human connection are cherished above all else, and the true value of life is measured by the depth of our relationships, not the weight of our wallets.

My soul aches for this shift, for a collective awakening to the preciousness of our shared humanity. I hold onto hope that, together, we can rediscover the beauty of today, fostering a world where love and kindness reign supreme, and every heart is free to beat with unrestrained joy. 🙏🏾❤️
