Little Baby Girl

What would I say to the pure-hearted little one? I would swear never to leave you alone, never let anything in this world sadden you. If you wish, I will be your circus ring and your favorite clown, turning this life into a carnival full of magic and colors just for you.

I would wrap lullabies in gentle whispers, blowing into your ears all the joy in the world. I believe I can do that, though I am but a poor poetess, only skilled in playing with words.

I feel your sadness pulsing through my verses, and my soul aches with the beat of your heart. Yet, I also sense hope being born in your eyes, a spark of light that I will always write about.

I have sworn to give you poetry and my sketches, creating a bond that is our absolute nexus. Even though my body may be absent, my feelings and love for you will always be present, poured out in care and affection.

Even without rhyme or perfect talent, I offer you true verses for your little heart, filled with wishes for a better future and my redemption. 🙏🏾❤️
