The Fall of Assad

We cannot expect Syrians to forgive Assad for his crimes against them. However, Syrians cannot expect us to ignore the looming specter of Israel exploiting this situation, especially in the midst of this genocide and as the people of Lebanon and Palestine fight for their very survival. The reality is that the resistance is now blockaded, with supply lines from Iraq through Syria already severed. Champagne bottles are popping in Tel Aviv as Netanyahu edges closer to realizing his vision of a “New Middle East.” More than ever, Palestine and Lebanon stand alone.

In the shadow of conflict, the cries of the oppressed echo through the valleys of despair. The scars of war are etched deeply into the hearts of Syrians, their pain a testament to the atrocities committed. Yet, as the world watches, another sinister force lurks, ready to exploit the chaos for its own gain. The people of Lebanon and Palestine, already burdened by their own struggles, now face an even graver threat.

The blockade tightens, cutting off lifelines and hope. The resistance, once a beacon of defiance, now stands isolated, its strength waning under the weight of severed supply lines. In Tel Aviv, the clinking of champagne glasses marks a chilling celebration, as ambitions of a “New Middle East” inch closer to reality.

In this bleak landscape, the resilience of Palestine and Lebanon shines through. Though they stand alone, their spirit remains unbroken. The world must not turn a blind eye to their plight, for in their struggle lies a profound truth: the fight for justice and freedom is far from over.

  1. Very well articulated Bia. Your narrative is 100% correct. All those perpetrated this evil must be hunted down in ernest and be prosecuted. They must never be forgiven either. Decades of atrocities and horror must never be forgotten either. Thank you Bia for being part of my life 🥰🥰🥰
