Happy New Year Recipe

In the alchemy of time, take twelve fine, full-grown months and cleanse them of the remnants of old bitterness, rancor, and hate. Let the past dissolve into the ether, leaving these months fresh and pure, untainted by the burdens of yesteryears.

With a gentle hand, divide these months into equal portions, each day a new canvas waiting to be painted with the hues of life. Do not rush, for haste can spoil the entire concoction. Instead, prepare each day with care and intention, infusing it with the essential ingredients of faith, patience, courage, and work—without which the flavor of life loses its richness.

Add to this mixture a generous portion of hope, fidelity, liberality, kindness, prayer, meditation, and rest—each a vital component, like the elements of a well-crafted dish. Do not forget the well-selected resolution, a promise to oneself for growth and renewal.

To this blend, sprinkle in a teaspoonful of good spirits, a dash of fun, a pinch of folly, and a sprinkling of play, infusing the concoction with the lightness of being. Finally, add a heaping cupful of good humor, the essential seasoning that brings joy to every moment.

And there you have it: a recipe for a Happy New Year, a blend of time and intention, a potion to savor and celebrate life’s journey. Saravá!
