Love is so important. And it’s everywhere…

I don’t mean romantic love. Sure, that’s nice too, but it’s not what i mean. Even love for family, friends, pets–all very nice, and I deeply appreicate all these things and the love they provide and share, but still, not what i mean. These are all parts of what i’m talking about, but i think noticing it elsewhere is the core of what i’m trying to say.

I mean the divine essence of love. It is e v e r y w h e r e.

It’s that feeling of warmth you get when you’re cozy in bed. It’s the sun glinting in through your window. It’s hearing people share laughter, it’s looking into a stranger’s eyes, it’s smiling at a mom to let her know you think that her young child is not a bother and you understand her position. It’s the feeling of watching a sunset, of hearing your favorite song, of playing an instrument, or painting a scene. It’s a flower beginning to bloom, birds chirping in the morning, the sound of the ocean lulling you into calmness. It’s the moments where you find a penny on the ground, or you remember something you almost forgot, or seeing repeating numbers on the clock.

It’s the things that remind you that some universal force is looking out for you. It’s the moments that make life worth the trouble.

If you don’t see what I’m describing as love in these moments, look for it. Feel for it. It’s there, and it’s so, so important to take note of. It’s a reminder of what life’s all about.
