As wild
The rapturous piano calls
Savage, I can’t dance again
To this humanity song
The passages written along the castle walls
Have placed a dirge in my heart
Thy memory etched, thereupon the wind
I listen, the notes come unbound
Soft and tragic, flowing like an unfettered flag
This thought; though my last, important
To someone, somewhere yet far off
What deed may I do to become
Human, once again in this skin… ❤
