Why?

I have witnessed the dance of darkness and light, the interplay of hope and despair. I have seen the face of humanity, etched with the lines of both cruelty and kindness. I have seen the monstrous acts that one human can inflict upon another, the injustices that make the soul shudder, and the heart weep.

I have seen the children, innocent and pure, caught in the crossfire of adult wars, their laughter silenced, their smiles faded. I have seen their small bodies, once full of life and joy, now lifeless and cold. And I have wondered, why? Why does the world turn a blind eye? Why does the silence of apathy drown out their cries?

I have felt the numbing sadness, the helpless apathy that creeps in when the world’s pain becomes too much to bear. I have asked the stars, the silent witnesses of our world’s suffering, why can’t someone do something? Why don’t people care?

  1. You have asked the 100 trillion dollar question Bia. The American answer is once billionaires and millionaires don’t give one rat’s fuck about anyone but themselves. They own everything, run the government, go everywhere, know everybody who is anybody and the majority of the time give very little too those who need it the most unless it is for a tax write off. But the rich don’t pay taxes the middle-class pays their taxes for them. Have a great weekend .🥰🥰🥰
