Declaration

I declare my fragilities and fears. Though I am small, a speck of stardust adrift in the vast cosmos, there is strength in my vulnerability. In surrender, I find resilience. Let me walk in beauty, for beauty is the divine’s language. The sunsets, bleeding red and purple across the sky, are my hymns—fleeting moments that nourish me and remind me that impermanence can be exquisite

Make my hands respect the things you have made—the ancient trees, the stones shaped by time. Let me touch the world with reverence, sensing the quiet wisdom hidden in every leaf and pebble. Make my ears sharp, attuned to the symphony of existence: the wind’s whisper, children’s laughter, the ocean’s lament. Teach me to listen beyond the noise, to hear the sacred melodies woven into the mundane.

Make me wise—not with pride, but with humility. Let wisdom flow through me like a mountain stream, softening ignorance and revealing truths in leaves and rocks, in seasons and decay. Not to be superior to others, but to confront my greatest enemy—myself. The shadows within, the doubts that gnaw, are my battleground. Grant me courage to face them and emerge scarred, yet undefeated.

Make me ever ready to stand before you with clean hands and a clear heart. As life fades like a sunset slipping below the horizon, may my spirit rise without shame. In the end, it is not grandeur but purity of intent that matters. And so, I whisper my prayer into the cosmic winds: may our fragilities be our strength, our fears our steppingstones, and may we find grace in the quiet spaces where the sacred and the ordinary dance together. 🙏🏾
