Scoundrel…

It takes time for an original scoundrel to emerge. Just as nature meticulously crafts perfection in landscapes, so too is the creation of a truly rogue character a labor of time and artistry. This rogue, a master of lyricism, wields words as both his means and his end. With the penetrating gaze of a Nelson Rodrigues’ characters and the fervent passion of a Vinícius’ poetry, he is a man devoted to the sacred art of enchanting women. His dedication to words as instruments of temptation and invitation is unparalleled, possessing the precise subtlety needed to seduce the soul of a woman in the labyrinthine paths of passion.

To blend carnal desires with poetry is a rare alchemy, a mathematical improbability that blesses only the few and unique scoundrels of modernity. This alchemical combination of traits and talents is ideally embodied in the poet, a delicious and sonorous scoundrel. He believes, as a fruit of lyrical sin, that poetry is a sublime pretext for surrender. He also believes that poetry was born a woman. For, as a creation of enchantment and desire, imprecise and imperfect, he seeks through the sacred feminine, hidden in the curves of letters and the beloved woman, to dedicate himself and be whole; even if he discards her the next day like pages already traversed of a well-known book.

After all, every character in their story has their time and turn. To the poet-scoundrel, son of time and misencounters, what truly matters is the immutable nature that permeates all females and inspires him; the abstract and immense love where their bodies and movements navigate, and that seduces him, beyond the forms and names and phone numbers he collects. Thus he dares, tuning soul with nudity, sex with redemption. He feeds on the luxuries that language grants us to, like a cunning serpent of paradise, envelop his lady and prey in the arts of persuasion and surrender. The desired woman lies in the bed of poetry, where words become the ultimate seduction.
