Get your bearings, man!

A word of advice to all those who govern entire nations from the comfort of plush chairs, padded with money and steeped in power: come down here, to the real world. To all those who dispense teachings and encouragement from the golden pulpit of television, and to those who, hidden behind a microphone and perched atop a cloud of illusion, urge us to think positively and be optimistic: try living the reality we face every day.

To the filthy rich who regret not having a “normal existence,” I suggest a simple leap outside your bubbles of privilege. Come and see where not all options are allowed, where it’s not always possible to choose the life you want to live. Step into the streets where, sometimes, if you fall, you can’t get back up. Live where impositions far outweigh possibilities.

Here, in the real world, the struggle is constant, and the luxury of infinite choices is a distant dream. Life is made of restrictions and sacrifices, where every small victory is earned through sweat and perseverance. Take a step outside your ivory towers and witness the raw, unfiltered reality of those who fight every day just to survive.

Your advice rings hollow when reality is harsh and unforgiving. Only when you experience this truth will you begin to understand the depth of effort it takes to turn words into action. So leave behind your comforts and face the world as it truly is. Only then can we speak of real change—the kind that comes from knowledge and empathy for the suffering and resilience of others. 🙏🏾❤️
