Pour Yourself Into Poetry

Never dream, love, or write poetry with anything less than all of your heart. To dream is to transcend the mundane, to explore the vast expanse of imagination where possibilities are endless. Dream with abandon, with every fiber of your being, for it is in these dreams that the seeds of greatness are sown. Allow your heart to be the compass, guiding you through the uncharted territories of your mind, where only the bold dare to venture. To love with anything less than all your heart is to deny the very essence of love itself. Love demands vulnerability, courage, and … Continue reading Pour Yourself Into Poetry

The Promise of Tomorrow

Sometimes, it all makes perfect sense to me. My time here is limited, and life is beautiful, miraculous, fragile, and so very precious. Every moment is a fleeting miracle, a delicate dance of existence that I treasure deeply. I don’t have a second to waste, for each heartbeat is a gift, each breath a testament to the wonder of life. And so, I love you all. I love you, life. I love you, my Creator, Universe. In the vast expanse of being, I find solace and joy in the connections that bind us all, in the love that flows through … Continue reading The Promise of Tomorrow

Human Spirit

Selfishness unifies the insignificant. It is not height, nor weight, nor muscles that make a person great… It is their boundless sensitivity. In a world often enamored with superficial measures of strength and success, it is the profound sensitivity of the soul that truly distinguishes greatness. This sensitivity, an innate ability to empathize and connect deeply with others, transcends physical attributes and societal accolades. It reveals a person’s true character, a heart capable of understanding, caring, and loving without limits. Such sensitivity is a quiet strength, an unassuming power that resonates deeply within the hearts of those it touches. It … Continue reading Human Spirit

Emotional Intelligence and Inner Freedom

The more emotional intelligence you develop, the less you take things personally. You begin to realize that people’s behavior is actually a reflection of the relationship they have with themselves — their self-awareness, emotional maturity, and even the state of their own nervous system. Over time, you understand that: This awareness brings lightness: you stop carrying guilt that isn’t yours, you learn to set healthy boundaries, and you begin to cultivate more authentic relationships. Emotional intelligence doesn’t mean becoming indifferent, but rather developing clarity so you don’t confuse what belongs to you with what belongs to others. At the core, … Continue reading Emotional Intelligence and Inner Freedom

I am a ghost …

I am a ghost, draped in the beauty of my unseen qualities Invisible to the eyes of the living, but no less beautiful I wander through the fine mists and dense fog seeking out others like me, searching for connection in this ethereal realm. The living is bound by what they can touch, taste, smell, and hear but we, the ghosts, are free from such constraints we find beauty in the intangible, in the unseen and the unspoken We long for connection, for the tender touch of another ghost. But the living fear what they cannot see and so I … Continue reading I am a ghost …

Sometimes…

Sometimes, it gets tiring. Closed doors, keys that don’t open them, the anguish of not knowing how to unlock them. The will that builds its nest in the greenest branches and spends time incubating eggs that seem never to hatch. The waiting for the flight of butterflies that take ages to break free from their cocoons. The repeated emergence of “no” when life tirelessly prepares banquets of welcome for the “yes.” The “almost” that extends so long it feels endless. And lurking, always following our courage from a distance, the dangerous prospect of “never,” waiting for every gap created by … Continue reading Sometimes…

The Verb

I yearn for the sweetness of the verbs “live” and “love,” to savor their essence in every breath and heartbeat. In the tapestry of life, I seek to weave threads of tenderness, painting my days with hues of affection and joy. To live with purpose and passion, to love with an open heart, these are the desires that stir my soul. In the gentle embrace of “live,” I find the courage to face each dawn with hope, to embrace the beauty of the present moment. It is in the simple acts of living—walking in the sunlight, feeling the cool breeze, … Continue reading The Verb

Dreamer

At first, I thought I’d lost my own body, felt it slip with the wind. It was as if I had become untethered, adrift in the currents of uncertainty. But then, I began to practice the faith of bare trees, standing tall and unyielding in the face of adversity. I learned to embrace the stillness of winter, to find solace in the quiet solitude of an empty cathedral. I began to see the nights as dreams, each one a canvas painted in different shades of green, a symphony of hues that danced in the moonlight. I found beauty in the … Continue reading Dreamer

2014

The saddest thing of all is that I was allowed one small glimpse of what could be. And for a brief, impossible, beautiful moment, I was allowed to hold that happiness in my hands. We were whole, we were untouched, we were together. And we were happy. And it is now in this silent moment that I realize that these moments were only dust. Memories made and vanished, an ephemeral escape into a world that could only last for so long…😔 ©️ Beatriz Esmer Continue reading 2014
