Stardust Conversations

Women like you and I find solace in whispered conversations with the stars. We tilt our heads upward, tracing constellations with our eyes, as if seeking answers from the distant luminaries. How rare it is to encounter a soul on this earthly plane that shines as brilliantly as a star. Amidst the mundane, we stumble upon those who radiate—an inner light that defies gravity, pulling us toward them. Their laughter echoes like celestial music, and their kindness leaves trails of stardust in our wake. Yet, there exists a select few—rarer still—whose brilliance surpasses even the full moon. They are the … Continue reading Stardust Conversations

Be curious …

If I could say one thing to my past self, I probably wouldn’t have listened anyway. But if there’s one lesson that has shaped me into a better person, it’s this: ‘be curious.’ Learn everything—especially what lies beyond textbooks and classrooms. Nothing is useless or irrelevant. I used to be the kid who raised her hand in class and asked, “When will we ever use this in real life?” Back then, my friends cheered me on, and I thought it was cool to complain about what we learned. But looking back, I don’t think I truly appreciated the opportunities I … Continue reading Be curious …

Touching

I desperately wanted to touch people—in the most violently tender, raw, and intimate way I knew. Because in the rubble, in the tiny crystal ashtray where we lay like wasted breaths and crumpled cigarettes, with only strangers’ hands to hold and strangers’ words to seam, all I wanted, in the midst of that, was to touch. To feel the iron-corrugated roofs of their mouths, the bumpety-bump, bumpety-bump of sorrows never whispered and apologies never heard. To feel the semi-precious, shuddering warmth of their palms, rubbed raw, spotted with red. To press, lightly, the bruises on their lips. All I wanted … Continue reading Touching

My love …

My love is from a faraway placewhere nostalgia grows. My love is unsteady and inconsolabledressed in anxiety and joy.My love is seldom, but common,is plenty of dreams, but truthful,it is sun and palm, always reliable and legitimate. My love loves so much, with defects and virtues. My love will stay with you,and never escape …My love is the love of a refugee, nothing more, nothing less…❤ Continue reading My love …

How do we forgive our fathers?Perhaps in a dream.

Do we forgive them for leaving too often—or forever—when we were little? For scaring us with sudden rage, or unsettling us with its absence?Do we forgive our fathers for marrying, or not marrying our mothers? For divorcing, or not divorcing? And shall we forgive them for their excesses of warmth or coldness? For pushing, or leaning? For shutting doors, or speaking through walls? For never speaking—or never being silent? Do we forgive them in our age, or in theirs?Or in their deaths, whether we say it or not? If we forgive our fathers… what remains?Maybe—just maybe—a peaceful heart. ❤️🙏 ©️ Beatriz Esmer Continue reading How do we forgive our fathers?Perhaps in a dream.

I had a plan …

… and the plan was to avoid my mistakes. I envy all those who make mistakes—but not like I do. I envy those who err with simplicity, with objectivity. I envy those who make a mistake and that’s it—who stumble but don’t complicate things, who falter but aren’t doomed to perpetual misery. I envy those who are pragmatic, who move through life with ease, who make mistakes, achieve victories, and remain happy; who can restart without hesitation. That’s what I wanted—to be pragmatic, so I wouldn’t suffer from my absurd speculations, wouldn’t constantly question my certainties or threaten my own … Continue reading I had a plan …

Mother

When The Great Mother holds me — She reminds me of everything that has been missing from this world. Grace, acceptance, comfort, warmth… No wonder people closed their Hearts without Her — who could stay open in such arrogance and righteousness. Masculinity is beautiful in balance — out of balance it is a very unforgiving environment. Shame is the only weapon of mass destruction there has ever been — everything after that was just effect. Find ways to be Softer, Kinder, more Supportive. When you touch others let it be Her touch — It could be a touch that Heals… … Continue reading Mother

Simple life’s rules

Those who look to “compete” with you, see you as a threat. That means you are doing something right. Toast your haters, they’re complimenting you! You should always follow your heart but refrain from begging. You’re better than that. Love is a precious, special, all-consuming blessing, but it is not all we need or enough. Not by a long shot. Being positive is different from being delusional. There’s really no need to have people in your life who try to pull and put you down. What’s the point? Make sure the things in your life add (not subtract) value. People … Continue reading Simple life’s rules
