Here, in this city, where the symphony of humanity weaves its intricate melodies, shaping the cadence of my days. Here, in this epoch, this century, this year, where the currents of history converge to carry me forward.

I was given no other place, no other time. I exist in this precise intersection of space and time, a singular point in the vast expanse of existence. I reach out and touch my desk, grounding myself in the tangible reality of this moment, seeking solace against the ephemeral nature of my own mortality.

This is fundamental, elemental, the bedrock upon which the edifice of life is constructed. I am here, a testament to the unyielding force of existence. In this declaration, I find the essence of my journey, the beginning and the end, the alpha, and the omega.

For the science of life, the pursuit of understanding hinges upon the gradual revelation of fundamental truths. And in these three words, I find the genesis of my quest, the seed from which all knowledge blossoms.
