Who …

Who will take us by the hand when a parent departs this world or our partner leaves us behind? Who will cradle us in their arms when our dreams shatter into a thousand pieces and everything falls apart? Who will be there at our deathbed to whisper gently in our ear, “Do not fear, dear child, this is but an ancient rite of passage, a natural part of the journey, to be expected and embraced, and all is well”?

Through the timeless eyes of this ancient universe, nothing in your life is a small event, nothing is insignificant or undeserving of loving attention. There are no ‘ordinary’ moments when seen through these ancient eyes. Everything is imbued with a divine essence; everything is sacred, carrying more significance than you could ever fathom. This perspective, which transcends the self, can lift us from the depths of our self-pity and obsession with our own troubles, transporting us to a realm of universal connection and profound compassion for all our fellow beings, who, in their own unique ways, are on exactly the same journey as we are.

Though we may live apart, we do not traverse this life alone. We are all threads in the same intricate tapestry, woven together by the shared experience of existence. In this collective journey, let us find solace and strength, knowing that every moment, every breath, is a testament to the enduring beauty of life. 🙏🏾❤️
