The Metamorphosis of Subtle Things

Sometimes we turn into butterflies, drifting away from all the ties that bind us. There is something terrifying and magnificent in this metamorphosis—the quiet shedding of skins, the sudden lightness of wings that never asked for permission to fly.

Pain, oh, that heavy, difficult visitor. It comes not to destroy, but to cut through the fog. It helps us to separate love from hate, truth from lies, with the precision of a scalpel. We look at the ruins of what we thought we knew and finally see the marrow of things.

It teaches us to sort between those who quit at every hardship, throwing fits like children denied a toy, and those who give their whole, body and soul, to live life to the max. The fragile ones shatter at the first whisper of wind. But the others? They ignore all the superficial facts, read between every line of existence, and do not just reflect the light—they shine, fiercely, from within.
