The Earth in Fragments

We have divided the earth into yours and mine — your nation, my nation, your flag, his flag; this religion, that distant one. The world is fractured, broken apart. And for these fragments, we fight and quarrel, while politicians revel in their power to uphold these divisions. They never look at the world as a whole. They lack a global mind.

They neither feel nor perceive the profound possibility of a world without nationality, without borders. They cannot see the ugliness of their power, their positions, their inflated sense of importance. They are no different from anyone else — only seated in power, driven by petty desires and ambitions. And so, they perpetuate, as humans have for millennia, the tribal mindset toward life.

They do not possess a mind unbound by allegiance — a mind free from ideals, from ideologies. A mind that transcends the divisions of race, culture, and the religions man has invented.
