I could feel your heart beating
and at that moment
I learned how to dance…
It was a fragile rhythm,
deep within the silence,
a secret map carved out of breath
and quiet rooms.
Before, my steps were heavy,
lost in the routine of days,
anchored to the ground
by unspoken fears and shadows.
Then came that sudden cadence,
a pulse against my palm,
teaching my feet the language
of surrender and of flight.
We did not need a ballroom,
nor music from the outside world;
just the naked truth of two lives
touching in the dark,
finding grace where we were broken,
and moving,
at last,
as one.
